Concrete batching plants for the “Nord Stream project”

In spring 2010 fibo intercon has delivered two semi mobile batching plants with belt conveyors and Big Bag cement silos to a Russian customer. The batching plants are to mix concrete for the prestigious “Nord Stream project” which has just been initiated outside the town of Vyborg not far from Saint Petersburg. Both batching plants are of the type F2200 and have special equipment which makes it possible to use them even during the Russian winter.

The purpose of the "Nord Stream project" is to create a new natural gas pipeline from Russia to Europe under the Baltic Sea. The pipeline will pump up to 55 billion cubic meter of gas per year and it will provide both European companies and households with natural gas. This makes the "Nord Stream project" very important to the future energy supply to Europe. Another purpose of the project is to strengthen relations between Russia and Europe and to provide companies on both sides with the opportunity to develop closer cooperation and create growth.
